đź‘€ It's that time again

PLUS: Popcat & Billy

GM everyone. This is 2036.

I'm taking a quick break from my vacation to send you a super short note.

Because it's that time again…

… the time to buy the dip.

In case you missed it, Donald Trump spoke at the Bitcoin Conference last week and promised that if elected president, he would:

  • Build a federal strategic Bitcoin reserve

  • Fire Gary Gensler (head of the anti-crypto SEC)

  • Turn America into a crypto paradise

Just before his speech, crypto rallied hard.

But when he didn't deliver the goods some were expecting (an explicit promise to “buy”, not just hold the US’ existing Bitcoin) the market retreated again.

Then, Kamala started polling better, Mt Gox started moving coins again, and crypto lost its sh*t.

[On a side note, the same polls that now favor Kamala also predicted this…

Now - the macro outlook looks good, and the Fed is getting ready to cut rates in September.

But crypto participants are bored. They can't believe they have to wait another 3 months for generational wealth.

That complacency is our opportunity.

The market usually rips when no one is expecting it.

So if you were looking to deploy some cash, now is the time.

It's buy-the-dip-season, baby 🎄

As always, don't buy coins just cause they’re down a lot and “will go up again.” Coins can be cheap for a reason (e.g., they're sh*t).

Instead, watch what the market wants: focus on relative strength, i.e., things that fall less and recover faster than everything else.

It’s always better to add fuel to an existing fire than to try to find patches of dry wood that may never ignite.

Coins like POPCAT or BILLY are looking good. WIF remains a high-conviction bet to outperform Solana for the remainder of the cycle.

But there are others, too.

I’ll be on vacation for another while. If something time-sensitive comes up, I’ll make sure to let you know in another (short) email.
