What we most enjoyed this week
Over the last seven days, three US banks collapsed. Bank stocks tanked 80% and bitcoin rallied 15% in a day.
It was a wild ride.

Ray Dalio is one of the most successful investors in history. He used to manage the world’s largest hedge fund, Bridgewater Associates.
This week, he wrote about the bank failures and what’s likely to happen in the near future.
Here’s a short snippet:
“…debt and economic pain that will eventually lead the Federal Reserve to switch from raising interest rates and selling debt (QT) to lowering interest rates and buying debt (QE) […] the timing of these is probably less than about a year away and that will have big effects”

Massively overshadowed by GPT4, Google also announced Generative AI across all of Google Workspace (link).
Raoul Pal is a common feature here at 2036. He does a great job at breaking down complex macro movements into frameworks that you can put into action.
