👀 A wild bet

GM everyone. This is 2036.

Markets are down, and sentiment is turning sour. But this is the time to buy rather than panic.

On that note, there are two narratives that:

• currently exist

• I believe will take off later this year.

The first of those is Real World Assets (RWA). Larry Fink wants to tokenize all assets, so I’ll do a deep dive on these soon.

The other is Politifi.

Politifi is a term used to describe tokens associated with political figures like Biden, Trump, or Elizabeth Warren.

There are hundreds of these tokens.

• All of them are memecoins

• And none of them have any utility

Instead, they capitalize on each political figure's attention in the news cycle.

Remember, crypto is a game of attention.

And you guessed it—in the next six months, political candidates are about to receive more attention than our brains can reasonably comprehend.

This has already begun.

Every day, I see clips of Trump and Biden going viral.

And I expect this will only accelerate in the next few months.

Now - this isn’t a hard and fast rule, but whenever either candidate captures most of the news cycle attention, their token tends to pump.

• $BODEN on Solana is the de facto token for Biden.

• $TRUMP on Ethereum is the de facto token for Trump.

The higher the candidates’ chances of winning the election, the more these tokens tend to pump.

As such, I expect both tokens to increase significantly in trading volume (and probably price) over the next 6 months.

But for those of you who want to take some more risk, I came across an interesting under-the-radar play that I wanted to share…

This bet might totally flop. I am by far not an expert on politics.

But this bet is more about probabilities than expertise. It’s very high risk, but it could be very lucrative if it does work.

So here it is.

You see, the upcoming debate between Trump and Biden (June 17) is early in the election cycle.

Like, unusually early.

One theory for it being so early is that if it goes badly for Biden, the Democratic party could replace him and still have time to run another candidate before the election.

And who would replace him?

The world’s biggest betting market thinks it could be Michelle Obama.

I have no special insights into whether this is true. And I have no thoughts on Michelle Obama.

What I do know, however, is that Michelle Obama’s politifi token - $OBEMA - is worth just $7M today - down from $27 million a few weeks ago.

Compare this to Biden’s token $BODEN worth $700 million a few months ago.

In other words, if there’s even a small chance Michelle Obama replaces Joe Biden, I would not be surprised if $OBEMA trades up significantly from here.

I imagine the nominee’s token will be trading in the billions come election day.

Of course, the same thinking could be applied to Gavin Newsom.

His token - $NOOSUM - is worth just $3 million.

Whichever one you pick is up to you.

So - what is this worth?

If you are 100% convinced, Joe will run as expected - nothing.

But if you think there's even a 4% chance Michelle Obama might be the nominee, it might be a bet worth taking with a tiny % of your portfolio.

If it works, I expect $OBEMA could 100X from here - maybe more.

If not, it would go to 0.

This is a wild bet and one I couldn't get myself to ignore.
